single?
There comes a time when a longterm single is forced to question their singledom. Did I miss something? Maybe I didn’t give so-and-so enough of a chance. Maybe I didn’t call whats-his-face when I should have called. Maybe I slept with what-cha-call-him too soon and scared him off.
There is a misconception that singles don’t care about love. That they are “too picky” or “too self-involved”. But…the more I come to understand relationships and I mean the ones that last for years and years until *croak*, the more I come to love love. I think its the singles who have this uttermost religious respect for two compatible souls. If the two people are not drowning in the happiness of being in each other’s presence we just. don’t. want. it. Maybe the singles are the hopeless romantics. Maybe were the ones holding out for something indestructible.
